Traffic finally resumes on national highway, after six long days

The vehicular movement has finally resumed on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway, after 6 days of closure.

After 6 days, the national highway has been set open for vehicular movement. But as of now, only the stranded vehicles are allowed to move towards their destination.

Reportedly, the highways was set open after clearing the debris at around 2:30 pm. Only the stranded vehicles, on the way to Kashmir have been allowed to move.

Hundreds of vehicles that were stranded at Ramban, Chanderkote, Peerah and Chenani, were allowed to move towards the valley.

The vehicles include LMVs as well as the load carriers.
