Six injured in road accident in Rajouri’s Khawas

Rajouri, Aug 18 : A vehicle carrying six persons met with an accident near Gunda Mohra in the Khawas area of Rajouri district on Tuesday, leaving all six occupants injured, two of them critically, officials said.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the vehicle, bearing registration number JK11J-4943, was travelling from Khawas towards Gunda when it met with an accident near Gunda Mohra.

He said rescue and medical teams rushed to the spot soon after receiving information about the accident and evacuated all the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment.

“Two of the injured are in critical condition, and cognizance of the incident has been taken,” the official said.—(KNO)
