‘Hospital fails to repair two faulty ambulances’
Anantnag, May 4 : Deputy Commissioner Anantnag Tuesday provided an ambulance to Maternity and Child Care Hospital after the hospital authorities failed to repair the two faulty ambulances.
The biggest hospital of Southern part of Valley had only one ambulance while no interest and seriousness were shown to repair the two faulty ambulances.
Pertinently, news agency Kashmir News Trust had earlier reported that patients face hardship due to presence of only one ambulance in the hospital.
Maternity and Child Care Hospital (MCCH) apart from catering patients from four Southern districts including Anantnag, Kulgam, Pulwama and Shopian also receives patients from Ramban district and Chenab valley.
Official sources said that Deputy Commissioner Anantnag Piyush Singhla donated an ambulance in the interest of patients. (KNT)
