Bandipora : Hudbal village in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district has been craving for better road connectivity and Healthcare facility for the past one decade, locals complained here on Friday.

The local residents told that their area having around 80 households is inhabited by the Gujjar community and Kashmiris are without road connectivity and heath facility for the past one decade creating hardships for the entire population of the area.

“Even in this modern era we don’t have road connectivity and the irony is that we have to walk through thick forests to reach the village either by foot or on horses, ” the villagers said, adding that the administration has always ignored this village, and no officer even pays attention here.

“In absence of a proper road leading to our village we simply don’t have any choice except to carry even patients on our shoulders,” Mushtaq Ahmad a local said, adding that considering these problems, the government should pay attention to this village.

“Our village has also been deprived of medical facilities for the past decade, they are facing difficulties especially in winters,” Mohammad Amin, another local said.

“We had informed the administration about the issues many times and had even done the paperwork but nothing is happening yet,” he said.

The local appealed Lieutenant governor Manoj Sinha led administration to redress the issues as soon as possible—(KNO)
