Jammu: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will visit here on July 24 to participate in an event to honour the families of martyrs to be organized by the Jammu and Kashmir People’s Forum.
Sources said that the Jammu and Kashmir People’s Forum is organising a felicitation function here at Gulshan Ground on July 24 to honor the families of the martyrs who laid down their lives for the country.
“Singh will pay homage to the martyrs who have laid down lives since 1947 till now for the nation and also honour their families during the function,” they added.
Singh earlier on June 16-17 during his two days visit to Jammu and Kashmir reviewed the security scenario along the Line of Control and the Line of Actual Control.
He also attended a function that marked the 200th Raj Tilak ceremony of Maharaja Gulab Singh in Jammu.
