Rains lash Jammu, fresh snowfall witnessed in Kashmir parts

Srinagar : Rains lashed Jammu region and fresh snowing was witnessed in parts of  Kashmir valley after Meteorological department predicted snow and rain in Next 48 hours in Jammu and Kashmir
Rains lashed Jammu division and  fresh snowfall was witnessed in the upper reaches of Kashmir valley. Light to moderate snowing was also witnessed in some plains of Kashmir also including the summer capital Srinagar.
Srinagar recorded 1 degree Celsius while Pahalgam and Gulmarg recorded minus 0.6 and minus 4.6 respectively. Leh recorded minus 4.3, Kargil minus 16 and Drass minus 6.3 degrees Celsius in Ladakh region.
Jammu city was at 11.6, Katra 10.8, Batote 1.4, Bannihal 1 and Bhaderwah was at 2 degrees Celsius. (KNS)
