Srinagar: In a press release issued by Shabir Ahmad Bhat General Secretary J& K Teachers Forum, the famous trade union leader M Rafeeq Rather resigned from the post of Chairman JKTF. Mr Rather worked on different posts in Teachers forum and earned a good name and fame among the teachers and other employees, M Rafeeq Rather has a good public faith as social activist,he resumed the charge as chairman Teachers forum for J& k UT in 2019 and till date worked tirelessly for the legitimate issues of teachers and students. In the back drop of his resignation the electoral college of Teachers Forum elected M Amin khan as new Chairman Teachers forum for UT of J& K. Mr khan is working in Teachers forum from past twenty six years on different portfolio, he worked as District president Kupwara for about ten years and was presently working as vice chairman Teachers Forum. M Amin khan is having a good faith in teaching community , besides a dedicated and vibrant Trade union leader he is known as best class teacher and educationist as well.
The new chairman M Amin khan in a brief press release said that we will miss Mr Rafeeq Rather but i along with my team will strengthen Teachers forum at all levels and we will never compromise for the genuine and legitimate rights of teachers and students and will work for the honour and dignity of teaching community.
