Srinagar: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has condoled the demise of a veteran Sikh leader Ex-president Gurdawara Parbandak Committee Baramulla and President Shiromani Akali Dal Kashmir S. Janak Singh Sodhi .
The party leadership in a condolence message has highlighted the philanthropic works of Mr. Sodhi and stating that his works for the upliftment of the downtrodden and unrepresented class will be remembered for times to come. The PDP leadership while commiserating with the bereaved family has prayed for their patience to bear the loss.
Additional spokesman Dr Harbakash Singh has expressed his sympathies with the bereaved family. He said that the sad demise of Janak Singh is not the loss of community but of the entire Jammu and Kashmir as well and the loss is irreversible.
