PATTAN, MAY 22 — President of the Media Association Pattan (MAP), Shabroz Malik, on Friday expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Pir Saif-u-din Sahib of Alsafa Colony, Sopore.
The deceased was the father-in-law of senior journalist Irfan Ahmad Quraishi.
In a condolence message, Shabroz Malik stated that the passing away of Pir Saif-u-din Sahib has caused deep sadness among his relatives, friends, and everyone who knew him personally. He described the deceased as an extremely sincere, compassionate, and noble-hearted person who earned immense respect in society through his humility, kindness, and exemplary character.
He added that Pir Saif-u-din Sahib was widely known for his simplicity, generosity, and warm nature, noting that his demise is a monumental loss for both the family and the wider community.
On behalf of the entire journalist fraternity of Pattan, the MAP President extended heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies to senior journalist Irfan Quraishi and the bereaved family during this hour of intense grief and mourning.
“We stand in firm solidarity with the bereaved family at this difficult time and pray for courage and patience for them to bear this irreparable loss,” Malik said.
The MAP President further prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the departed soul, grant him the highest echelons in Jannat-ul-Firdous, and bless the grieving family with ultimate strength and Sabr.
