Lawyers Suspend Work In Mendhar Poonch

Jammu : Members of Bar Association Mendhar in Poonch on Wednesday suspended work in protest against the alleged misbehavior of a police constable with a lawyer near police post Ari in the area.

The decision to suspend the work followed a meeting of the association in which the “serious issue” was discussed.

“Police personnel, Head Constable, posted at police post Ari misbehaved with an advocate at road in front of the police post,” the Association’s President said, adding, “the Bar Association Mendhar has decided to suspend the court work/appearance till action is taken against the police personnel.”(GNS)
