SRINAGAR: Terming congress spokesman Anand Sharma’s remarks that Congress has nothing to do with Mini Shankar Ayar’s Mission Kashmir, AIP Supremo and MLA Langate Er. Rasheed has said that Kashmiris had never been under any such impression that even a single political party or individual has ever been sincere to resolve Kashmir dispute or has been truly concerned about the rights of Kashmiris since 1947.
While interacting with people of different walks in Handwara today, Er. Rasheed said that like BJP disowned Yashwant Sinha, Congress has distanced itself from Mani Shankar Ayar’s mission Kashmir, but both have been send with a calculated plan by the state craft.
Er. Rasheed said “Had Congress been ever sincere then Kashmir issue would have been resolved decades before and if anybody had still some expectation from congress leadership Anand Sharma has cleared all doubts by making it clear that there will be no compromise on India’s so called national interest.
“It is known to all that what congress president G A Mir talks in Kashmir, Raman Bhala rejects that in Jammu and National level leaders support every offensive measure against Kashmiris in Delhi. After having unmasked the congress’s duel face, those talking about holding so called Kashmir conclave should first explain what is the agenda and intention of holding the same”, he said.
“Like in the past when New Delhi used to constitute so called Kashmir committees, appoint interlocutors or enter into mutual agreements with Pakistan, this time again New Delhi is using people like Yashwant Senha and Mani Shankar Ayar to calm down Kashmiris by giving the notion as if they want to facilitate resolution to Kashmir dispute”,he said.
Er. Rasheed said that whosoever Indian politician visits Kashmir he has always an agenda having got nod from all political parties including BJP, Congress and others and we should be not confused in understanding that for every Indian political that J&K is India’s colony.
However Er. Rasheed added that whosoever meets these undercover crises managers must tell them loud and clear that Kashmiris will agree to nothing less than right to self determination.
