SRINAGAR: Clashes erupt after Friday congregational Prayers today in Nowhata area of Srinagar, Sopore town of Baramulla and Hajin area of Bandipora.

Reports said that scores of youth assembled near Jamia Masjid in Nawhata, Sopore and Hajin after Friday prayers and raised pro-freedom, slogans, triggering clashes between security forces and protesting youth.

Security forces resort to tear gas shelling to disperse the protesters in these areas. The ding dong battle between the two sides was going on for long.
