BUDGAM: Senior separatist leader and president Anjuman Shari Shain, Aga Syed Hasan condemned the honouring of an Indian Army officer who tied a civilian in Kashmir to a vehicle and used him as human shield.
During his Friday congregational address, Aga Syed Hasan said that Army Major brazenly used a Kashmiri youth as a human shield, is an act of cowardice and insult to humanity.
The international community, particularly, the UN should take cognizance of the act, he added. He said that BJP and RSS want to crush and suppress the freedom sentiments of people of Kashmir and under a well chalked out strategy, brutalities are being inflicted upon the people.
Kashmir should be demilitarised to implement UNSC resolutions so that the Kashmiri people could exercise their right to self determination. He also felicitated with Muslims and stressed the need for prayers for the month of holy Ramadhan.
Aga Hasan while condemning the assault on Behreen religious cleric, Sheikh Esai Qasim said that such act can’t stop people of Behreen to take their struggle to logical conclusion.
He said that establishment of democracy and elimination of dictatorship in Behreen will prove counterproductive for America and Israel and that is why these countries suppress the struggle of people there.
