LeT Militant associate arrested in Baramulla, ammunition recovered

Srinagar: Police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested a militant associate of Lashkar-i-Toiba in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

A senior police officer told GNS that a militant associate of LeT was arrested during Naka checking at Kralhar railway station.

The officer identified militant associate as Faisal Ahmed Dar son of Mushtaq Ahmed Dar resident of Maldara Shopian.

From his possession 10 rounds of pistol were also recovered and a FIR No 271/2021, U/S 7/25 Arms Act has been registered in Police Station Baramulla in this regard, the officer added.(GNS)
