Encounter breaks out in Budgam

Srinagar, Sep 29 : One terrorist has been killed in an ongoing encounter in Guruwatkalan area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Tuesday, officials said.Official sources told GNS that a joint team of security forces launched a cordon and search operation in the area following specific inputs. As forces zeroed in on the suspected spot, hiding terrorists opened fire, triggering an encounter, he said. One terrorist has been killed so far and operation is still underway, he said.
