Srinagar : Top social-media platforms WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook went down late Monday night as a suspected global outage and technical failure disrupted their services.
The platforms, owned by American internet giant Facebook, experienced outages around 9 PM, India time, and millions of users complained that fresh messages were not being loaded, and user feed disrupted.
Facebook spokesperson said in a statement, “We’re aware that some people are having trouble accessing our apps and products. We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience.”
