Truck driver arrested with 30-kg charas at Lakhanpur

Jammu, Oct 26: A team of Excise Department on Thursday arrested a truck driver along with contraband of charas in Lakhanpur area of Kathua district in Jammu and Kashmir.
“The Excise Department team intercepted a Punjab-bound truck at Lakhanpur (J&K-Punjab border) on specific inputs and during search, recovered 30-kg of charas,” an Excise official here said.
He said that the driver was arrested on the spot while the matter is being investigated.
