Amid pro freedom, Islamic slogans both were laid to rest at their ancestral villages
SOPORE: Thousands of people, including men and women attended the last rites of two slain militants in their native villages in Sopore area of Baramulla district.
Aijaz Ahmed Mir of Brath Kalan and Basharat Ahmad Sheikh of Bomai Sopore were killed in a brief gunfight with security forces in Nathipora villageof Sopore today.
Huge number of people including men and women attended the last rites of both themilitants besides were mourning their killing. Amid pro freedom and Islamic slogans Aijaz was laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard in Brath Kalan village while the funeral of Basharat was held at Bomai playground.
Meanwhile parts of Sopore observes shutdown to mourn the killing of slain militants.
