SOPORE — The Sopore Media Association (SMA) has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Peer Saif-u-Din Sahib of Alsafa Colony, Sopore, who left for his heavenly abode today after a brief illness.
The deceased was the father-in-law of senior journalist Irfan Ahmad Qureshi.
In a condolence message issued today, the President of SMA, Shabir Ahmad Dar, alongside all respected members of the association, paid rich tributes to the deceased, remembering him as an exemplary community figure.
“Peer Saif-u-Din Sahib was a noble, kind-hearted, pious, and humble human being whose gentle nature and deep sincerity touched countless lives. His passing is a monumental loss to the entire society,” Dar stated.
On behalf of the entire journalistic fraternity of Sopore, the SMA extended its heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies to Irfan Qureshi and the bereaved family during this hour of intense grief and mourning.
The association members stood in solidarity with the family and prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the departed soul the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and to bless the grieving family with the ultimate patience, strength, and courage to bear this irreparable loss.
