AUG 03: SSP Budgam Tahir Saleem-JKPS today chaired a security review meeting at District Police Headquarters Budgam in view of forthcoming 76th Independence day and also general law & order scenario in the district. The meeting was attended by Addl. SP Budgam Shr Gowhar Ahmad-JKPS all SDPOs, DySP PC,Budgam, Dy.SP PC Chadoora, DySP DAR DPL Budgam.
SSP Budgam was briefed about the overall security scenario in their respective areas and the security measures being adopted to counter the challenges by Ad SP Budgam and SDPOs concern. SSP Budgam briefed the officers about the additional security measures/preparations to be put in place in connection with upcoming 76th Independence Day-2022 celebrations. Besides directions were passed about maintaining law and order and security grid of the Distt for ensuring the peace and stability in the district.
The chairing officer emphasized upon the participating officers to perform their assigned task pertaining to Independence day celebrations in professional manner with dedication.
SSP Budgam stressed on officers to fine tune strategies and plans for peaceful Independence Day celebrations and proper implementation of “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign in the district. He also directed for effective management of safety of PRI’s and other possible targets .
