Renzushah emphasises for revival of our own thousand years old Cashmir Calendar
Srinagar:Chairman, Kashmir society international & Cashmir Development, Khawaja Farooq Renzushah, has greeted people of the state on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri, which is celebrated by Cashmiri Pandits as Hairath as mark of Cashmir traditional culture with distribution of wet walnuts to general masses as good will gesture indicating deep bonds between two major communities of Kashmir.
In his message, Khawaja Renzushah who is also chairman of Hazrat Bulbushah international Spiritual Board has said that this festival symbolizes the values of piety, devotion, brotherhood and harmony, which are the hallmarks of proud composit Civilization of Kashmir. He prayed for peace, progress and prosperity in the State.
The festival also reminds us our own Cashmir Calendar which was first solar calendar of the world having perfection of seconds also. This calendar was High jacked by western powers and copy pasted as their own calendar. since Cashmir lake it’s cultural advocates therefore no one talks of our joint Calendar which was official calendar of Kashmir during Hazrat Bulbushah, Hazrat Amir Kabir, Hazrat Sader ud din Rinchenshah and Kota Rani era. Unfortunately we lost landmarks of our great culture and these occasions remind us to pray for revival of our Great Sufiyat in Kashmir.
