Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) organised a youth meeting at Chattabal area of Srinagar, which witnessed participation from a large number of youths from Srinagar and senior party leaders.
The meeting was aimed at discussing issues concerning the younger generation and strengthening the party’s outreach among youth at the grassroots level. Several PDP leaders addressed the gathering and highlighted the role of youth in shaping the future of Jammu and Kashmir.
Party leaders said that young people are an important part of society and their concerns, aspirations, and challenges need to be addressed through meaningful engagement. They stressed the need for creating more opportunities in education, employment, sports, and skill development.
The participants also shared their views on various social and developmental issues being faced by people in the Valley. The leaders assured the gathering that the party would continue to raise public issues and work towards strengthening its connection with the people.
The programme concluded with a resolve to involve more young people in political and social activities and further expand the party’s presence across Srinagar.
