Over 100 Activists from Congress, PDP Join NC in Bandipora Constituency, Sameer Bhat Welcomes in Party Fold

In a Major setback to Congress and PDP in Bandipora Constituency, over 100 Prominent Activists from Aloosa Belt here on today joined National Conference in Bandipora Constituency in presence of National Conference Youth Leader Sameer Iqbal Bhat.

Bhat, while addressing the new entrants into the party fold said that, I welcome the decision of PDP and Congress workers to join National Conference. It is a right decision at the right time, Bhat said.

Bhat said that the joining of workers into NC’s fold was the Local Representative and government were “pushing youth to the wall”. He alleged that policies of previous dispensation PDP-BJP government pushing youth to the wall. He said that National Conference is a secular political party further saying that increased number of new entrants in NC in past few months shows unhappiness of people towards PDP and Congress in Bandipora.

Bhat expressed happiness about their joining and hoped that they will make party strong on the ground and strengthen hands of Omar Abdullah. People who joined National Conference expressed happiness over joining the party and said omer Abdullah is the only leader who can bring peace and development to state,” they added.
