SRINAGAR — National Conference (NC) spokesperson Tahir Syed has expressed deep sadness and grief over the passing of Pir Saif-u-Din Sahib, who breathed his last at his residence in Alsafa Colony, Sopore.
The deceased was a respected social figure, former General Secretary of the Auqaf Committee Neharpora, Sopore, and the father-in-law of senior journalist Irfan Ahmad Qureshi.
In his condolence message, Tahir Syed paid rich tributes to the deceased, remembering him as an exemplary community figure.
“Deeply saddened to hear about the demise of Pir Saif-u-Din Sahib. He was my dear friend Irfan Qureshi’s father-in-law, and an extremely sincere, compassionate, kind-hearted, humble, and affable person who earned the respect of everyone who knew him,” Syed said.
The NC spokesperson extended his heartfelt condolences to Irfan Ahmad Qureshi and the entire bereaved family during this period of immense mourning.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the departed soul the highest place in Jannah and bless the grieving family with the ultimate patience, strength, and Sabr-e-Jameel to bear this irreparable loss.
