LoP Sharma attends swearing-in ceremony of Assam CM

Srinagar: Leader of Opposition Sunil Kumar Sharma on Tuesday attended the swearing-in ceremony of Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in Guwahati.

According to the new agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Sunil Kumar Sharma was present at the oath-taking ceremony.

Sharma, who served as co-incharge of the BJP for the Assam elections, had spent considerable time devising strategy and campaigning for the party in the state. He also played a crucial role in securing eight additional votes for the BJP in the Rajya Sabha elections held in J&K in October 2025—(KNO)
