Srinagar, July 8 (UNI) J&K Police on Friday claimed to have booked a female drug peddler under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act after recovering Charas from her in Baramulla district.
Police said during a routine naka checking at Kreeri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district one lady drug peddler who has been identified as Bilkees Akhter a resident of Kalantra Payeen and recovered 250 Grams of Charas like substance from her.
Police said the lady was accompanied by her spouse who gave a slip taking the advantage of darkness and efforts are on to arrest him.
A Cases under NDPS Act is registered in Police Station Kreeri and investigation set in motion, police said.
