In Hajin—A DDC seat, Apni Party-supported candidate wins

NC—supported candidate relegated to 3rd position

Bandipora : In another close electoral battle, Jammu & Kashmir Apni Party supported independent candidate won Hajin—A district development council seat by 423 votes.

According to details available, Apni Party candidate polled 2706 votes while PC candidate secured 2283 votes.

Interestingly, National Conference was relegated to the third position in the seat which falls in Sonawari assembly segment. NC—supported independent candidate secured 2178 votes.

Sitting NC MP Muhammad Akbar Lone has represented the Sonawari assembly segment thrice in Jammu & Kashmir Assembly since 2002—(KNO)
