Hit-and-run case: Pedestrian kiled in Pattan

Baramulla : In a case of hit-and-run, a pedestrian was killed at Pattan area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday evening.

Official told that the pedestrian identified as Maqsood Ahmad Bhat a resident of Sagipora Sopore, was hit by an unknown vehicle and got seriously injured.

He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment where doctors declared him brought dead on the arrival, they said.

The officials said the driver of the vehicle fled from the scene after the accident while a case has been registered and investigation taken up—(KNO)
