The Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Mr. Pandurang K. Pole, Mr.Aijaz Asad DC Srinagar, Khwaja Farooq Renzushah, Chairman KSI, Dr. Hina Bhat V.C J&K KVIB, Mr.Khurshid Waza Sajadah Nisheen, Dr. Muhtashim Tabish KSI, Mr.G.N Khaki (Chairman centre for Shaikh ul Aalam Chair KU, Ms. Asmat principal Gandhi College, Jenab Basharat Bukhari, and thousands of Ulmas, Sajadah Nisheens, graced three jam-packed Auditoriums annexed Auditorium Halls in Heritage college of Shahar e Khas.
On this occasion, two prestigious books, Kuliyat Waza Ahmad, Kuliyat e Waza Fareed were released by prestigious Dignitaries. These books have encompassed Sufiyat and Tasawuf in a true Spiritual way.
The Divisional Commissioner Mr. Pandurang K. Pole on this occasion said that Kashmir is the name of a rich civilization symbolised by Sufiyat of the true unity of all faiths.
Khwaja Farooq Renzushah in his welcome address said that the high Civilization of Kashmir is known by its predominant Spiritual Hanafi character of Kashmir which is re-emerging again with its same Glory of past. He said Divisive forces and champions of hate have deliberately erased traces of 7777 majorities of Holy shrines of Awaliyas which led to the most confusing situations. He praised the District Administration headed by DC, Srinagar, Divisional Administration headed by Mr. Pandurang K. Pole jee for their keen patronage to high light Extraordinary Contribution of Hazrat Waza Mahmood RA in Field Sufiyat. Mr. Khurshid in his welcome address also pointed out that till now Spiritual contribution of Hazrat Waza Mahmood was completely ignored during the last 70 years. In the Conference, it was observed that leftist ideology poets and writers were not allowed to project true Sufi traces of Kashmir. Accordingly not only private but Government libraries have been flooded with hate books which are responsible for spoiling Kashmir and ushering it to destruction during the last 70 years.
Mr. Pandurang K. Pole Divisional Commissioner said that in each Village, Each Mohalla and each Shrine these Sufi Legendaries are true guides he Suggested to Renzushah who organized the most successful Conference today to project verses of each Sufi Saint in every holy Sufi shrine so that new generation can get fully enlightened. He said this conference held in the heart of Shahr e Khass has conveyed a strong message to the entire world that 5k years old Civilization is still full of light bestowed to them by their Sufi saints. He acknowledged that the Spiritual Historic Revolution of 1321 Ce when persons of Aitqaad and faith on one side comprising of Hindu, Muslims, and Buddhist jointly and spiritually united defeated 70 thousand faithless forces of Mongols of Zulja Zulqadar Khan and succeeded to save their joint Civilization. He said that the 1321 Ce Historical Revolution of Kashmir established the world wide power of unity of faiths.
Ms. Hina Bhat V.C J&K KVIB in her address emphasised for encouraging Sufi literature and knowledge. She said that her own department is dedicated to this pious cause. Mr.Basharat Bukhari also while speaking on the occasion highlighted the rich contribution of Sufi Awaliyas in Kashmir.
Mr. Aijaz Dc Srinagar, Mr.Khaki head department Markaz e Noor, Principal GC, Ms. Asmat jee also in their addresses highlighted the contribution of Hazrat Waza Mahmood RA and demanded that Waza Mahmood memorial be Established in Shahr e Khas.
The most prestigious grandson of Waza Mahmood Jenab Khurshid sahib said that for the last 70 years it is the first time this legendary Sufi poet was given State level prestige by Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, DC Srinagar, and Kashmir Society International.
The Awards and certificates of honour were given to prestigious personalities.
The Conference observed that the main reason of erasing the Predominant Sufi Hanafi culture of past to present ideological confusions and contradictions has been configured by bigots and vested interests so that people are deprived of messages of unity and co-existence as per doctrines of Great Sufi Awaliyas of Kashmir.
Scholars in their research papers pointed out that during the era of Hazrat Bulbulshah RA and subsequently Hazrat Amir Kabir this valley and thousands of Awaliyas which include Waza Mahmood people of Kashmir were blessed with the light of spiritual love and unity of all faiths. Conference lamented that for the last 70 years of uncertainty, the importance of the Heritage & knowledge capital of the world which is Shahar-e-Khas of Srinagar was reduced to a large extent.
Conference of Revered Scholars observed that the biggest Casualties of Kashmir conflicts have been our heritage sites of Shahr e Khas, our holy sites of Sufiyat, and our water bodies. This is time that people should wake up, the central Govt and state Govt should synergize its endeavors to protect our 5000-year-old heritage treasures, declare this range as a heritage range including Shahar-e-Khas.
The Conference observed that Takhat Sulaiman & Shankrachariya mountain, as well as Koh-e-Marran mountain, maybe declared spiritual mountains and Pari Mahal first Sufi Centre of Shah Aalam Mullah Shah time and Darah Shukuh time be handed over to people of faith to Redevelop it. The Yarkand Sarai e of Safa Kadal built by Hazrat Sader ud Din on the direction of Bulbul Shah be redeveloped as it has developed cracks. It was observed that Renzushah has already taken it up with all concerned the worst condition of Pather Masjid its encroachments and Mullah Shah Masjid near Mahboob Aalam need to be redeveloped. It was appreciated that Kashmir society developed Bulbul Shah and Sader din shrine. The Conference suggested to Divisional and District administration that The Nawab Bazar bridge may be officially named as Hazrat Waza Mahmood Bridge to pay rich tributes to Waza Mahmood.
