Health officials told that Covid-19 cases in Jammu and Kashmir that witnessed a surge in past weeks along with the rest of the country are on decline again.

They said that though there was a surge in Covid-19 cases in the past few weeks but hospitalization rate wasn’t too much.

They said after the second wave, J&K has witnessed many minor waves but hospitalization rate wasn’t too much in any wave and around 95 percent positive patients recovered at their homes.

They said that small waves can come in future too but that can trigger a seasonal flu without much disruption in routine life.

They said most of the population is vaccinated and the maximum population has already developed antibodies due to which it is unlikely that a person can get a severe disease even if he contracts the virus.
