Hoteliers to give 50% discount in Pahalgam

PAHALGAM: Concerned over the decrease in number of tourists visiting Pahalgam, Hotels and Guest House owner’s Union decide to give 50% discount to tourists and locals coming from the distant parts of the country from Oct 5 2017 to March 05 2018.

A statement issued reads, “After a meeting with Assistant Director Tourism yesterday, today the president of Hotels and guest house owner’s union announce the discount”.

Abdul Rahman Veeri, President Hotels and Guest owner’s union said “As a goodwill gesture, provided several facilities, including low-rate fares to pilgrims and tourists. He requested support of the Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) in paving way for the local community to do brisk business”, he added.
