Leh: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh last night, a total of 79 persons were tested positive for COVID-19. Out of the total positive reports, CMO Leh received 72 positive reports while CMO Kargil received seven positive reports.
The bulletin further details that 23 patients in Leh and 27 patients in Kargil were discharged yesterday after their negative sample reports were received. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 1195; 904 in Leh district and 291 in Kargil district.
It also reports that 287 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 196 passengers including the drivers and helpers of 99 trucks, tankers and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi Check Post yesterday. Similarly, 135 passengers including the drivers and helpers of 188 trucks, tankers and light motor vehicles were screened at the Khaltsi Check Post yesterday.
The bulletin further details that in Leh district total positive cases admitted in Covid Hospital are 44; total positive cases in home isolation are 510; 83 in COVID Care Centre, and 264 in facility Isolation. Similarly, in Kargil district total positive cases admitted in Covid Hospital are eight, total positive cases in home isolation are 252, and 31 in COVID Care Centre.
