Srinagar: The cab was heading to Larnoo from main Kokernag when it plunged into Brengi Nallah near Dandipora village.
Five passengers were rescued, other passengers went missing after a cab plunged into a river in Kokernag area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

An official said that during rescue operation five passengers rescued namely Mohd Abdullah Wani s/o lasso Wani R/o Bidhad, Irshad Ah khan s/o Mohd Yousuf khan R/o Gadool, MST, Nuzhat Banoo w/o Bilal Ah Bhat R/o Watnad, Faisal Ah Bhat s/o Bilal Ah Bhat R/o Watnad, Haseena Jan D/o Bilal Ahmad Bhat R/o watnad, but five others are still missing. Search operation is still going on, he added.
