Handwara : Handwara Police on Saturday organised a “Talent Hunt” singing competition under Civic Action Programme under the banner of “Choona Hai Aasman” at District Police Lines Handwara for three (03) age groups viz, 05-12 years group one, 13-17 years group two, 18-25 years group three.
In which both boys and girls from different educational institutions participated.
Superintendent of Police Handwara Ashish Mishra-IPS briefed about the event organised by Handwara Police under Civic Action Programme.
On the occasion SP Handwara said , “our valley is full of talent and youth need to be motivated to excel in different fields and the sole objective of these programmes is to provide a platform to those children who generally do not get opportunity to present themselves.”
Handwara Police is highly thankful to the members of music band “Expendables” who professionally extended support to make this event successful.
SP handwara presented memento to the Music band and the jury members of the “Talent Hunt” singing competition.
Following singers succeeded in each group who shall participate at range level competition.
On the occasion chief guest commanding officer 7sct ?ADC Handwara, SP Handwara and guest Dy.SP Tariq Mehmood and DSP Dr Faroq Ah Wani distributed prizes among the position holders who got 1st, 2nd and 3rd position in each group. (KNS)
