SRINAGAR — Mohammad Lateef, Editor-in-Chief of the Kashmir Tehalka newspaper, has expressed profound grief and heartfelt condolences over the sad demise of Pir Saif-u-Din Sahib, who passed away at his residence in Alsafa Colony, Sopore.
The deceased was the father-in-law of senior journalist Irfan Ahmad Quraishi.
In a condolence message issued today, Mohammad Lateef stated that he was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Pir Saif-u-Din Sahib, describing his demise as a significant loss to the entire community.
“Pir Saif-u-Din Sahib was widely known and respected for his unmatched sincerity, compassion, and noble character. His passing is a great loss to the community and to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him personally,” Lateef said.
On behalf of the entire editorial team of Kashmir Tehalka, the Editor-in-Chief extended his deepest sympathies and solidarity to Irfan Quraishi and the bereaved family during this hour of intense grief and mourning.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to look upon the deceased with infinite mercy, grant the departed soul the highest place in Jannah (Jannat-ul-Firdous), and bless the grieving family with ultimate patience, strength, and Sabr to bear this irreparable loss.
