SRINAGAR : Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader and spokesperson, Syed Tajamul, has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Pir Saif-u-Din Sahib, who passed away after a brief illness at his residence in Alsafa Colony, Sopore.
The deceased was the father-in-law of senior journalist Irfan Ahmad Qureshi and a highly respected figure in the locality, having formerly served as the General Secretary of the Auqaf Committee, Neharpora, Sopore.
The funeral prayers of the deceased were held at his residence in Alsafa Colony, Sopore, and attended by a large number of people from all walks of life.
In his condolence message, Syed Tajamul stated that the sudden passing of Pir Saif-u-Din Sahib has left his family, relatives, friends, and well-wishers deeply shattered.
“At this incredibly difficult moment, I extend my heartfelt condolences to Irfan Ahmad Qureshi and the entire family. Pir Saif-u-Din Sahib was a noble soul dedicated to community welfare. We stand in solidarity with the bereaved family during this hour of immense grief,” Tajamul said.
The PDP spokesperson prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the departed soul the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous, forgive his shortcomings, and bestow patience and strength upon the grieving family to bear this irreparable loss.
“May his soul rest in eternal peace,” the statement concluded.
