Leh: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of 73 persons tested positive for COVID-19. Out of the total positive reports, 70 positive sample reports were received by CMO Leh and 03 positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil. The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 124 patients today. Out of which 116 patients were discharged by CMO Leh and 08 patients were discharged by CMO Kargil. With the report of death of one more patient from Covid-19 in Kargil district today, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has gone up to 96 with 55 in Leh and 41 in Kargil district.
With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone down to 948; 841 in Leh district and 107 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informed that 296 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh today. While 200 passengers including the drivers and helpers of 114 trucks, tankers and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi Check Post yesterday. And 03 passengers of 03 trucks were screened at Upshi Check Post yesterday.
