Srinagar, Mar 19, KDC: A 30-year-old man died after drowning in Gandawali area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Saturday afternoon, officials said.
An official told news agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that after receiving information a rescue operation was launched and the body was fished out from the nallah in Sangarvani area of Pulwama and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.
He identified him as Showket Ahmad Deedad (30) son of Mohammad Hussain Deedad, a resident of Zampathri Keller area of Shopian.
Meanwhile, a police team has reached the spot and have taken over the investigation in this regard. (KDC)
