Suspicious bag recovered near army hospital seized

Rajouri, Apr 7: Jammu and Kashmir police and army here in Rajouri seized a suspicious bag that was found lying near main gate of Army Hospital in Phalyana area of Rajouri town.

Officials said that in the late evening hours on Tuesday, a suspicious bag was spotted by locals along Jammu Rajouri Poonch national highway and infront of army hospital gate after which they informed army men and an alert was issued.

“Army teams rushed to the spot and sealed the area. Bomb Disposal Squad of Jammu and Kashmir police seized the bag from the spot which was later taken to police station for further examination and investigation.

Officials said there were no explosives in the bag, but the matter is still under investigation. (KNT)
