Srinagar witnesses 2 Covid related deaths on Eid morning

Srinagar, May 13, : Srinagar witnessed two Covid-19 related death early Eid morning on Thursday.

An official told Kashmir News Trust that a male died at JVC Hospital Bemina while another death of a woman took place at SKIMS Soura.

He said an elderly woman died of Covid-19 at SKIMS Soura. The woman who is a resident of Bemina Srinagar was suffering from Comorbidities.

Another elderly male from Sakidafar area of old Srinagar city died at JVC Bemina. He was suffering from acute pneumonia.

Pertinently, Srinagar has 55544 positive cases while 639 people from this city have succumbed to Covid-19 so far. Yesterday, Kashmir capital Srinagar reported 863 Covid-19 cases. (KNT)
