Srinagar Mayor says ‘unregulated mushrooming of coaching centres is a disaster waiting to happen

Srinagar, Feb 17, KNT: Srinagar Mayor Junaid Azam Mattu Thursday warned of possible ‘consequences’ in wake of what he called the ‘unregulated mushrooming of coaching institutes in Parraypora area of Srinagar.

He said that young students are being putting up in ‘filthy’ and unsafe hostels.

Srinagar Mayor as per news agency Kashmir News Trust tweeted about coaching institutes, claiming that mark his words that unregulated mushrooming of coaching institutes in Parraypora is a disaster waiting to happen.

He said that: “dingy, unsafe hostels, the IGI road swarming with young students – most institutes in residential houses in violation of usage/safety norms.” (KNT)
