Speaker accepts resignation of Ruhullah Mehdi as MP

Srinagar, Nov 05 : The Lok Sabha Secretariat has notified the resignation of Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi as Member of Parliament from Srinagar parliamentary constituency.

As per the notification issued by the Lok Sabha Secretariat, Mehdi, an elected member of Lok Sabha from Srinagar constituency of Jammu and Kashmir, has resigned his seat in Lok Sabha and his resignation has been accepted by the Speaker with effect from November 03, 2026, as per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO).

With this, the Srinagar Lok Sabha seat has fallen vacant—(KNO)
