Snowfall leaves Srinagar city without power for whole day

Srinagar, Feb 23, KNT: Snowfall left Srinagar city without power for the whole day on Wednesday.

Kashmir Valley witnessed massive snowfall that added to the problems of the people. For the whole day, there was no electricity.

Chief Engineer Power Development Department Ajaz Dar told that electricity will be restored by evening but till the filing of this report, Srinagar city was reeling under darkness.

“Though snow adds to natural beauty, at the same time it brings trouble. For the whole day, we were waiting for the electricity and it’s 6 of the evening, electricity is still off,” wrote a netizen on social media.

Another netizen wrote, there is not a single place in Valley where bulbs lit on Wednesday. (KNT)
