SMC organises Sunday for Srinagar cleanliness drive

Srinagar: An extensive sanitation drive was taken up in all the four zones ie zone east , zone west, zone North, Zone East on Sunday.

Commissioner SMC personally supervised the drive along with Chief Sanitation Officer and zonal sanitation officers .

The cleanliness drive was taken up at Sheikh colony Baba Mohhala, Kathi Darwaza, Babedem, Dedi Nawbagh in ward 14, Nawa Kadal Bund to cement Bridge in ward 18, Sanat znagar Housing Colony, Sanat Nagar Byepass Bund upto Barzulla Bund Via khan Mohhala

All the filth and waste was cleared up and grass cutting was done at at all these places during the drive.

Also Bush cutters were pressed in service at some places.
