Handwara, : The woman who was battling for her life at Srinagar hospital after sustaining critical injuries in a blast in Handwara dies on Saturday morning.
Earlier, the 19 year old daughter of the deceased woman had been killed in the explosion a day ago.
As reported earlier, mother-daughter duo were injured after a shell exploded in their house when they were cleaning the vegetables which they had brought from a nearby forest. They according to police had apparently brought a rusted shell along with the forest vegetables in the bag.
The incident had occurred at Taratpora village of North Kashmir’s Handwara.
The daughter Gulnaz had died shortly after the blast at the hospital while her mother identified as Sara Begum succumbed today in Srinagar hospital.(KNT)
