School timing changed in Kashmir

SRINAGAR:  The government today modified its earlier orders regarding change in timings for educational institutions across Kashmir.

The schools within municipal limits of Srinagar district will remain functional from8:30 am to 2:30 pm on all working days from Monday, a government order said, adding that the schools in other areas including all the districts will be from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.

“The school timing has been rescheduled keeping in the view the interests of students,” Commissioner Secretary School Education said.
