Kupwara : While continuing its mass public outreach and interactive programme,Coalition of Youg People (CYP) an amalgimation of Kupwara youth headed by youth leader Tahir Syeed,today held their program at Trehgam block. while interacting with youth and civil society members team JKCYP emphasized them about the Greater kupwara initiative – regarding the development of overall socio-economic parameters of human development indexes of the district, kupwara being the very underdeveloped in terms of socio-economic indicators Team emphasized them about various initiative that can be done for the overall development of these indicators . Further, various initiatives were discussed and documented for the upcoming policy document after the completion of this mass contact program in terms of Horticulture, Agricultural,education and various economic developing indexes.
Few civil society members informed the team about various indigenous experiments that were done by farmers that have yielded immense amount of crop but that needs to be implemented on mass level and some industrial policy to achieve the actual sustainable goal . Team assured them about proper documentation of this initiative and pledged to provide mass awareness among the its upcoming mass contact programs about this initiative .
Team also emphasized them about the powers of Panchayat beyond the boundaries of Rural development department , that Panchayat has a power to seek accountability about all departments within its vacinty , and mobilized them to seek accountability of all government institutions .
Lately , team JKCYP distributed pamphlets among the shopkeepers and to public at Trehgam market along with local members of this block .
