Nano urea is a revolutionary innovation in the horticulture and agriculture sectors.

Shopian : A long-day awareness camp was organised by IFFCO in collaboration with the Agriculture Department at Devpora Shopian where farmers were educated and stressed over practising professional and modern methods on their farms to increase their income by reducing human efforts.

The purpose of the awareness camp was to educate farmers in general and in particular about the use of nano urea.

The farmers were aware and educated that Nano urea is the liquid form of urea fertiliser and that one bottle of nano urea is equal to one bag of urea, with an efficiency of 90 per cent.

The Director of Agriculture in Kashmir was also present on the occasion, and he himself educates farmers about the benefits of nano urea and its outcomes.

Speaking on the occasion, the director of agriculture said the department aims to double the farmers’ income, and for that, a multi-dimensional approach has been adopted. He asked the officers to work for the promotion of niche crops in the district.

Nearly 1,000 farmers participated in ST. Gujar Bakarwal. In the event and later, IFFCO distributed free blankets among the Farmers.
