Anantnag, May 21, : After coming under sharp criticism for lack of facilities, Government Medical College Hospital in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district installed new Hi-Tech equipment on Friday.
Medical Superintendent GMC Anantnag, Dr Muhammad Iqbal Sofi told that to increase the efficiency of Oxygen delivery and optimal utilization of Oxygen for medium and high flow, Government Medical College Hospital today installed twenty five (25) more High flow therapy machines and Fifteen (15) multi -channel monitors in isolation wards.
He said GMC Anantnag authorities are working day in and day out to increase the infrastructure for better delivery of Medicare services.
“Doctors and Paramedics are trying their best to provide optimal health care services to both Covid and Non- Covid Patients amid 2nd wave of Covid-19 Pandemic.”
He appealed general public to adopt Covid Appropriate Behaviour and take part in Vaccinations.
Dr Muhamamd Iqbal further said that they have issued to helpline number (01932-233410) and (01932-233411) for anyone who face any problem and need any medical consultation or medical help. (KNT)
