ITBP officer shoots self dead at Poonch Mini Secretariat
Poonch, Jul 08 (KNO): An elderly man died after he came under a landslide in Mandi area of Poonch district on Friday, while an ITBP officer committed suicide by shooting himself at Mini Secretariat Poonch, officials said here.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a 60-year-old man died when he came under a landslide in Mandi area.
He said that the body was later recovered from the debris.
Meanwhile, an ITBP officer committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle at Mini Secretariat in Poonch district.
An official said that soon after the incident, his colleagues rushed him to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival—(KNO)
